My name is Cassidy VanSickle, I am a senior at the high school. I was a captain of the volleyball team, and I am also a member of the cheer squad, NHS, and the math team. My favorite ceramic technique is slab building because I like the clean finished look it offers to the pieces. I like my ceramic pieces to be functional because I think it’s cool to be able to go to the kitchen, grab a bowl, and say, “yep, I made this.”

. My favorite artistic process is monoprinting because you have lots of room to get very detailed or you have the option to keep it very simple. Most of my work is inspired by my boyfriend and best friend because I like my work to be joyful and he gives me the most joy. Honestly, my art is pretty straight forward, so I just hope everyone enjoys looking at it.
